Steven Grech, Executive Director of CC Fund Services (CCFS), participated as part of the Finance Malta delegation at the 0100 Conference Mediterranean 2024 in Milan, held on October 29-30, 2024.
 
The conference facilitated engaging meetings and discussions with General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs), the primary stakeholders in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds.
 
Like similar events held previously in Vienna and Prague, this conference offered a valuable opportunity to promote Malta as a financial services hub and a preferred alternative fund jurisdiction, particularly as one of the few English-speaking jurisdictions in the EU. The event also provided a platform to elaborate on the Notified Alternative Investment Fund (NAIF) and the Professional Investor Fund (PIF)—the most commonly used structures for Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds.
