CC Fund Services at the 0100 Conference CEE in Prague

Steven Grech, Executive Director of CC Fund Services (CCFS) was part of the Finance Malta delegation during the 0100 Conference CEE 2024 in Prague held between the 15^th and 16^th of May 2024.  Steven was also one of the panellists moderated by Finance Malta - with the main topic being "Malta as an emerging English-speaking fund jurisdiction".

The conference brought about very interesting meetings and discussions with General Partners (GPs) and the Limited Partners (LPs), the main stakeholders involved in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds.

This presented a unique opportunity to promote Malta as a Financial Services centre and an alternative fund jurisdiction of choice, as one of the few English-speaking jurisdictions in the EU.  The conference also provided a platform to explain in further detail the Notified Alternative Investment Fund (NAIF) and the Professional Investor Fund (PIF) - the most common structures used for the Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds.
